 1. Tsunami watches and warnings went into effect around the Indian Ocean, after a massive earthquake struck off Indonesia's coast. The US geological survey put the magnitude at 8.6, with at least one powerful aftershock. The quake sent Indonesian coastal residents fleeing to higher ground, but there are few early reports of major damage. 

 
 
 
2. Two attorneys announced they're no longer representing George Zimmerman, the Florida neighborhood watch volunteer who shot dead unarmed teen Trayvon Martin. The lawyers say Zimmerman hasn't returned phone calls, texts or emails for several days. 
 
 
 
3. Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney says Rick Santorum will continue to play an important role for the party. Santorum announced Tuesday he is suspending his presidential campaign. 
 
 
 
4. A Korean jetliner flying from Canada to South Korea was diverted after a bomb threat was phoned in. The plane landed safely at a Canadian Air Force base after taking off from Vancouver.
