矢野浩二，出生于日本大阪的年轻人19岁那年在酒店打工，因为客人对他说了句：“浩二，你为什么不去东京当演员呢？”于是为了这个令他热血沸腾的演艺梦想，他跑去东京给艺人做了8年的助理；在梦想渺茫无望之际，2001年5月，怀揣着打工赚的约6万块人民币来到中国北京，继续追求他的演艺之梦，起初当然有各种困难：语言不通，工作没有着落，因为中日关系的问题产生的各种文化差异和摩擦，被骗，被恐吓……可是他还是坚持了下来，这一坚持居然就坚持了11年！至少现在，很多中国人认识了这位来自日本的艺人！
