A trough is generating the occasional storm in western Queensland. A cold front crossing Victoria and Tasmania is bringing isolated showers. And a high is keeping the skies clear in the rest of the country. Looking around the states.
There'll be isolated thunderstorms in central, southern and western Queensland and in the Gulf country. The rest of the state can expect fine and partly cloudy conditions.
New South Wales can expect isolated showers in the north coast and far northern ranges. It'll be mostly sunny elsewhere.
There'll be snow on the Victorian Alps today and isolated showers in the south. They'll clear later today.
In Tasmania, isolated showers forecast for the west and south, the mountain ranges can expect snow falls.
There'll be early frost in the agriculture area, South Australia, and morning drizzle in the southeast. Fine elsewhere.
In WA, conditions will be fine across most of the state, except in the Kimberley and Pilbara, where there'll be isolated showers and gusty thunderstorms in the Top End. There'll be late showers and storms in the west of the territory.
Looking ahead to tomorrow. And a shower or two in Brisbane. Cloudy in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. Mostly sunny in Canberra and Hobart. Sunny in Adelaide. And an afternoon storm in Darwin. |
