2. First flood waters, then fire for an Oceanside neighborhood in Queens, New York, where blaze destroyed at least two dozen homes. Officials say the fire was reported late last night in an area flooded by superstorm Sandy.
 
 
 
3. Sandy has rained out the presidential campaign. Mitt Romney's campaign announced it's suspending political events for today. President Obama scraped his own appearances to monitor the government response.
 
 
 
4. A New York City hospital had to transfer some of its most critical patients to other hospitals after a backup generator failed. Doctors and nurses at New York University Tisch Hospital have evacuated more than 200 patients. Some of them maybe is on ventilators.
