1. Police in Pakistan say more than 60 people have been killed in a bombing in the southern part of the country. The blast hit a vegetable market and injured another 180.

 

2. The rush is on to repair windows on walls in Russian where the blast from a meteor damaged more than 4000 buildings. Temperature there are well below freezing, leaving many exposed to the elements. 

 

3. Oscar Pistorius' family says the double-amputee sprinter is "numb with shock as well as grief" over the shooting death of his girlfriend. His family strongly denies any murder charges against him.

 

4. And they are marching again in Europe. Thousands have taken to the streets in Madrid and Lisbon to protest harsh austerity measures introduced by their governments in an attempt to control their debts.
