From NPR News in Washington, I'm Lakshmi Singh 15 republican senates are launching a new effort to keep their former colleague Chark Hagga from becoming secretary of defense. In effort led by Texas senator John Corlon , the letter urged president Obama to withdraw Hagu's nomination saying he asks broad base partisan support need to effectively performer creative job. Senator John Michan outspoken Hague's critic has not signed the letter . He indicated last Sunday he would not block the nomination, and most recently Richard Chaby reportedly told Decatur daily he would likely back Hague as well .
