  The Syrian crisis is nominating  John Kerry's agenda, his day will trip overseas as secretary of state. Today in Britain, Kerry called on Syrain opposition leaders to meet him in Roma to discuss whether else the US can do to help them. More from NPR's Michele Kelemen.
 
  Kerry says he understands the frustrations of Syrians who have been seeking more help in their bid to topple Bashar Assad's regime, he too says he wants to change Assad's calculous and his meeting to Europe are focused on that.
 
  This moment is right for us to be considering what more we can do.
 
  Kerry was speaking in London alongside British foreign secretary William Hague, who suggested his country might soon offer a non-lethal aid to rebel fighters in Syria. As he put it a policy can not stay static in the face of ongoing atrocity by the Syrian regime. Michele Kelemen NPR News London.
 
  As role prepares to host the Syrian opposition conference this Thursday, all lines are also on the Vatican next step to choosing the next pope and its reaction to new controversy. British media reports the cardinal Keith O'Brien has polled out from the conflict to choose a pound     after allegation surface, that engaged in inner appropriate behaviour with other prays.

There have been planning of road closures in the central plains and the weather service warns the travel could be very dangerous until Tuesday morning. A blizzard warning is an effect for the Oklahoma Panhandle and counties along the Kansas border. Meteorologists say the storm might also cause tornadoes from Louisiana to Georgia. Despite those concerns, some farmers say the moistures they welcome relief from the wash drought in 50 years. Cheryl Corley NPR News.
 
  The trial is underway to determine how much more money BP and other company should pay for the 2010 gulf oil disaster. Environmentalist Steve ConKurnxx, with the Mississippi river delta land, water and wild live says he wants the court to make a statement that can forever change how business's done in the gulf.
 
  This is an very powerful signal to every operator in the gulf, every company that's doing businesses there. BUt this is too important to cut corners to try to save a bulk to the shoring that coasts in the main time.
 
  BP which is also expected to present its side had said it expects to pay the total of 42 billion dollars to fully result of its part in the oil disaster. But the federal government and attorneys for businesses and individuals say they are hoping to make BP pay much more.

  A horse meat scandal has spread to cafeterias of popular world furnitur retailer, IKEA. NPR's Eleanor Beardsley  reports the horse meat has been dectected in IKEA Swedish meat balls.
 
  Swedish media are reporting that traces of horse meat were found by check inspectors in IKEA's Denish imported beef, demonstrating the true international nature of the scandal. IKEA announced on its Facebook page, that it was withdrawing its meat balls in stored in 14 countries. At IKEA just out side of Paris, DanisAlla and Moctarxx, say they are surprise.

  And Italian prosecutor has formally requested a men slaughter indictment against the capitain of the ill-fated Costa Concordia cruise ship, where 32 people died when the ship capsized off Tuscany last year. A judge is deciding whether Francesco Schettino and five other should go on trial.
 
  The former heads AOL, Mozilla and other online giants are organizing a virtual march to overhaul immigration law in the US. THey say they are specially interested in attracting immigrants who want to work in high tech fields. Organizers say that's sometime the spring they planned to fled lawmakers officers with messages via social networking sites by phone and in person. Their announced being comes just weeks after bipartisan group of lawmakers announced proposals for sweeping changes to immigration.
