1. Closing arguments are set for Thursday in the second-degree murder trial of George Zimmerman. The former neighbourhood watch volunteer is claiming self-defense, but he declined to take the stand Wednesday.

 

 

 

2. Federal investigators say 90 seconds passed between the crash of Asiana Airlines Flight 214, and when passengers began streaming out of the plane. Officials say the evacuation began after a flight attendant noticed fire on the outside of the aircraft.

 

 

 

3. Randy Travis has suffered a stroke after being hospitalized for treatment of congestive heart failure. The country music star had surgery to relieve pressure on his brain, and his publicist says he's in critical condition. 

 

 

 

4. And Tropical Storm Chantal skirted the southern coasts of the Dominican Republic and Haiti Wednesday. The storm lost some of its power, but it still poses a threat to the region.
