Diamond Jubilee celebrations are in full swing in the UK, as Queen Elizabeth the Second prepares to mark 60 years on the throne. A flotilla of boats has already begun making its way along the River Thames. The 86-year-old queen and the royal family are on board the royal barge, Spirit of Chartwell. Along with them, more than one-thousand boats are sailing down the Thames. Organizers call it the biggest gathering on the river for 350 years. Some of the boats took part in the Dunkirk evacuation in 1940. Despite cool, drizzly weather, hundreds of thousands of people lined the riverbanks between Hammersmith and Tower Bridge in London, watching the event.
