But there was serious and substantial items, too. Police in Britan are arresting a tenth in connection with that brutal murder ofa British soldier last week. The man taken into custody in the southeastern town of Welling is being held on suspicion of conspiracy to committe murder. They said the tenth suspect are now in custody.

We're learning more as well about one of the two key suspects who were shot and arrested at the crime scene. Michael Adebolajo, a British citizen of Nigerian decent back in 2010. He was kicked out ofo Kenya, after Kenya police arrested him  near the Somalia border on suspicion of planning to join al-Shabab which is a group of Islamic extremists in Somalia, and of carry-out suicide attacks in many acts of terror.

Meantime in France, the search is on for would be a copycat. Someone stabbed a soldier in the neck over the weekend just outside Paris. The soilder is recovering. And in Britain, anti-Muslism backlash is setting in the coastal town of Grimsby. Somebody set up a mosque on fire. Nobody was injured. Police arrested 2 men on arson charges. Join us now is national security analyst and former George W Bush homeland security advisor Fran Townsend who currently assists on the CIA and DHS external advisory committees.

--So, they've already arrested the tenth suspect. You know, we've heard so much about this long wolves. If the authority is accurate though, this would seem to be not so long.

--That's right, Anderson, and we don't really know. Look, when we saw the attack perpetrated on that horrible video, the inclination is to think it was a long wolf. But we've seen too many times first report is usually wrong. And so as British began to pick up these people in this network, the queation is gonna to be did they know about the attack in advance or the indications did they help him.

Let's remember, you pointed out that he was picked out by Kenya authorities, and then throw out of Kenya, comes back to the UK. We understand from British press reports that MI5, their version, the British version of the FBI, may have approached to them about cooperating. You don't do that without looking at the network. Who does he have access to? Could he be helpful? Would he be credible in the circles? They obviously judge that to be true, he would be credible. And when he turned them down, they will be a lot of sort of second guessing and looking now about what they do, did they investigate him, did they do wiretaps, did they refer him to Scotland Yard. All these questions remain unanswered.

But as you see, this large network of individuals picked up, the queation becomes is this a part of larger group?

--There is also this extremist cleric who used to live in England, who finally got deported, he is now living in Lebanon. He refuses to condemn what this man who actually followed some of his lectures did.

--That's right. There is a real extremist problem and extremist thread in London. British authorities have for over last dacades, really been overwhelmed with it.

Bakri, the sheihk you refered to, is one of them, There is Chaudry, there is several of them. And let's remember, Awlaki, Nick Robinson had done a report some time ago. About Awlaki the Yeme preacher who is now been killed by a drone attack was, uh, he had his, uh, His audio tape of the sermon circulating in the extremist Muslim community in London. So, this is real, this is a real challenge for British authorities.

--Also now, this is attack in, outside Paris. Authority aren't saying for sure, that's an act of terror, though the terrorist squad is investigating and hunting, try to hunt down the man who is allegedly to have done this. It seems pretty obvious, it's some sort of copycat or inspired by kind of attack.

--That's right. I mean we don't know this, they don't have anyone in custody. They have not said if they identified the individual thatthey are lookng for. They are looking for individual. It does seem because of the timing that may be inspired.

Now, I'll say, Anderson, you know, on the memorial day weekend all of us are sort of remembering the sacrifices of those who have given their lives. You talk to the military service members and to a person, they say, you know , it's a chilling reminder that when we interact with the public. That could happen anywhere, could happen here. It's not just British or French problem, it could anywhere.

--And these attacks are very unsophisticated, and frankly anybody can kind of do them ,if they were so, you know, inclined.

--That's right. You know, remember that video in London of the guy with a meat cliver and butcher knife. That was horrible. But those are all things are readily available to somebody who wanted to committe one of these attacks.
