 A front is triggering showers and thunderstorms over Western Australia's interior. These trough is also causing isolated showers in South Australia's southwest, while steering warm northerlies into the nation's southeast. A high is directing showery southeaster winds onto the Queensland and northern New South Wales coasts.

In Queensland will see isolated showers on the state's east coast.
 
Rainy from Townsville down to Brisbane, it will be warm and mostly sunny for the south and west.
 
The north coast and eastern parts of New South Wales will also see showers today, the rest of the state can expect sunny and warm temperatures with early fogs in Canberra.
 
Some beautiful Autumn weather for Victoria, it will be mostly sunny and warm with northerly winds freshening up the west.
 
In Tasmania, northeasterly winds will make for a fresh and warm morning with some showers hitting towns on the north coast.
 
It will be a hot start for South Australia, cooler in the state's west, which will turn stormy as the day goes on.
 
A rainy day for Western Australia with thunderstorms predicted in the north and east.
 
And there'll be isolated showers and storms in the Top End while the rest of the territory will be sunny and warm.
 
Looking ahead to tomorrow's forecast for the capital cities. Showers in Brisbane, cloudy but fine in Sydney. Rain for Hobart and Melbourne, sunshine and showers to Adelaide, warm in Perth and Darwin.
