The Central Economic Work Conference has opened in Beijing. We’re expecting reform details and a to do list for 2014. The usual prelude to the conference--last week’s politburo meeting had set the tone--China would seek development while ensuring stability. Reforms will be carried out in all sectors.

Q1: What’s your assessment of China’s economy this year?

Q2: The tone going forward is -- continuing development while ensuring stability, what are some of the problems in trying to maintain that philosophy?
