1. The FAA has OK’d the use electronic devises from gate to gate. Passengers will be able to play games, watch movies and listen to music, but not talk on their cell phones. Some airlines are working quickly to implement the policy change.

2. Iraq’s prime minister says terrorists have found a “second chance” to thrive in his country. He is asking for new US aid to beat back a bloody insurgence that’s been fuelled by the departure of the American troops and the civil war in neighbouring Syria. 

3. A federal prosecutor in Georgia says he will review the case of a teenager whose body was found inside a rolled-up wrestling mat in his high school to see if there is sufficient evidence for a criminal civil rights investigation. 

4. And the sunburst Fender Stratocaster that Bob Dylan played at the 1965 Newport Folk Festival is going up for auction. It is expected to fetch as much as half a million dollars.
