At the Vatican, Pope Francis led 10,000 people in silence prayer for the typhoon victims. The Pope told the crowd he wanted to assure the people of Philippine and surrounding region that he feels close to them.
3. Authorities in Texas say more than 100 people were jammed into a house in suburban Huston Saturday night, when gun fire erupted at a 18 year old girl's birthday party. When it was over, 2 high school students were dead and as many as 22 hurt, 2 of them critically. Authorities say they are looking for 2 gunmen.
4. And a 25 year old Venezuelan Flamenco Dancer has been crowned Miss universe 2013. Gabriela Isler is the third winner from the south America country in the last 6 Miss universe pageant. |
