其实在今年的跨考各地的作文班上，特别是小作文的讲授方面，请求信由于其实用性之高一直被列为最为重要的备考体裁之一。而且针对2006年英语一(请求找到希望工程捐赠对象)以及跨考模考的小作文真题训练过程中，我们已经把请求信按照写信对象及内容分为正式版(写给机构)和非正式版(写给朋友亲戚)两种模板。所以如果同学按照老师要求记诵请求信模板的话，本次小作文的考试应该是游刃有余。而且如果是英语一考过，英语二没有考过，是会考的。

　　本次小作文依然分三段来写，根据题干中的情景交代，我们知道自己的角色定位在准备出国留学的学生，且要给未来的室友John写信。所以根据我们的写作规则，在这里首段除了提出写作目的意外，出于礼节，我们应该先有一个简短的自我介绍。

　　二段是中心段，根据题干要求，要包含两部分内容。一是介绍自己的住宿习惯，一句话即可。二是询问住宿建议，这里可以写两条。套用模板例如：By the way, I would like to know if there are some necessary advice you could offer. For example, …(具体询问内容) 或者I wonder whether it is convenient for you if two things following could be considered. To begin with,… in addition, … ( 即可。

　　三段是结尾，套用请求信常用结尾模板:Your prompt attention to my inquiry will be highly appreciated and I am looking forward to your reply at your earliest conveniences.

　　英语二小作文范文如下：

　　Dear John,

　　I am writing this letter to excitedly tell you that I am going to study in your university this September and I would like to express my great pleasure and honor to be your classmate and roommate. I have to say I have started to expect the open day’s coming.

　　In order to have a pleased and peaceful coexistence, I have to tell you that my stuffy luggage will be likely to occupy much more space and I would like to apologize for any inconveniences that I may bring to you in advance. By the way, I would like to know if there is some necessary advice you could offer. For example, I wonder whether I need to bear some tips in mind and what they are.

　　Your prompt attention to my inquiry will be highly appreciated and I am looking forward to your reply at your earliest conveniences.
