It’s been 65 years since the founding of China’s People's Liberation Army Navy. In recent years, China’s navy has become heavily involved in many international humanitarian and peacekeeping missions. Sixteen Chinese Navy ships are currently participating in a number of rescue, peacekeeping, and escort missions around the world.
