“do nothing but”+原形不定式

John is very playful.

约翰很贪玩。

He does nothing but play around all day.

他整天除了玩，什么都不做。

“choose nothing but to”后面的to不可以省略。

He choosing nothing but to study English.

除了英语他什么都没有选。

I expect to marry with Linda.

我希望和琳达结婚。

“have no choice”别无选择

“apologize”道歉

“alternative”二者选其一

You have no choice but to apologize to her.

除了向她道歉你没有选择。
