2. Across South Africa, voters head to the polls. It’s the country’s 5th general election since the end of end of apartheid in 1994. The ruling African National Congress is expected to see a return to power.

 

3. The European Union is banning the import of Indian mangoes. EU officials say they’ve found fruit flies in the mangoes. The Indian Government is trying to have the ban revoked. 

 

4. A toddler in Texas has reason to smile. He was born with a cleft hand. But thanks to the smart three high school students, he now has the prosthetic one, the teens created for a school competition.
