2. Insurgents in eastern of Ukraine said the ballots are all in and voters there overwhelmingly chose self-rule in Sunday’s referendum. But U-S and Ukraine officials say the election was illegal. They are rejecting the results.

 

3. Oscar Pistorius arrived in court in South Africa Monday for the resumption of his trial. The former Olympic Athletic is facing premeditated murder charges for killing his girl friend Reen Steenkamp. He says he accidentally killed her and thinking she was an intruder.

 

4. And New York police airlifted a hiker who broke her ankle Sunday near the Hudson River. Police said the woman was found stranded on a cliff New Jersey. The police pulled her up to safety. And she is expected to be ok.
