 1. Hurricane Iselle is expected to arrive on the Big Island of Hawaii on Thursday,  bringing heavy rains and winds gusting to 85 miles per hour. It's expected to be Hawaii's first direct hit from a hurricane in 22 years. 

 
2. Residents of more than 200 homes in the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon have been ordered to evacuate. A wildfire is quickly spreading east of Portland.
 
3. Authorities in Nigeria are trying to get more isolation tents to keep the Ebola virus from spreading. The virus is blamed for hundreds of deaths in at least four African countries. 
 
4. And the National Park Service is proposing a ban on commercial fishing in Biscayne Bay National Park off the coast of Miami. It wants to prevent overfishing in an area where people have fished for generations.
