Around the world, leaders and journalists alike are condemning the deadly attack on a French satirical newspaper. Masked gunmen carried out the rampage Wednesday storming the office of Charlie Hebdo, killing 12 people before fleeing in a car. The killers were heard crying “Allahu Akbar” after attacking staff during an editorial meeting.
 
Bitter cold weather is continuing its grip across the country. In Minnesota, the National Weather Service reported wind chills of 54 degrees below zero at the Grand Marias airport. While in Chicago, the residents in the windy city bundled up and public schools canceled classes due to subzero temperatures.
 
Monaco’s royal twins made their first public debut to a cheering crowd. Princess Charlene and Prince Albert appeared on a palace balcony holding prince Jacques and his older sister Gabriella, Jacques is now the hereditary heir to the royal throne.
 
And talk about clean a getaway.A painting valued at 250 thousand dollars was taken directly off the wall of the Rodrigue Gallery in the New Orleans French quarter. Police are on the hunt for the suspect seen on surveillance video walking out with the painting inhand.
