1. The International Police Agency Interpol says 1 of the 23 people who escaped from a Yemen jail last week is believed to be the mastermind of the USS Cole bombing that killed 17 sailors in 2000. Yemeni officials confirmed to Interpol that Jamal al-Badawi was among those who escaped through a 140-yard-long tunnel. Al-Badawi was sentenced to death for plotting the Cole attack.

2. In Safaga, Egypt, relatives of passengers on a ferry that sank in the Red Sea Friday are growing increasingly desperate for word of their loved ones. Police said 401 people have been rescued by midday, Sunday. 195 bodies have been recovered. About 1000 people were still missing.

3. A new poster showing kidnapped American journalist Jill Carroll is now hanging from Rome's city hall. City officials say it's a sign of hope and solidarity. Carroll was abducted in Baghdad Jan. 7th.

4. And in Detroit, fans on both sides of the field are heading for the Super Bowl matchup between the Seattle Seahawks and the Pittsburgh Steelers. 800,000,000 viewers are expected to tune in to watch the game.
