Millionaire Robert Durst agreed Monday to return to Los Angeles to face a murder charge in a shooting 15 years ago of a freind who acted as his spokesperson. Durst was arrested at a New Orleans hotel over the weekend. A police report says he was in possession of a revolver at the time. President Obama says he's prepared to fight Republicans for school funding and his education priorities. At a meeting at the White House Monday, Obama cited graduation rates among low-income and minority students as evidence that the policies are working.
Russian president Vladimir Putin has resurfaced after a 10 day absence from the public eye. Putin was last seen on March 5 when he hosted Italian prime minister Matteo Renzi. The president's decision to postpone a trip to Kazakhstan built speculation that he was unwell.
And talk about an epic birthday. A thrill-seeking centenarian went shark diving in South Africa Monday just 2 days after she went sky diving to celebrate her 100th birthday. Georgina Harwood was joined by family. She braved the cold water to meet great white face to face.
