3. The Coast Guard made a dramatic rescue at sea Friday. A research ship was burning off the coast of Louisiana and called for help. The Coast Guard was able to rescue 40 people. Two men were hurt. The fire started in the engine room and continued to burn until Saturday afternoon.
4. The Black Widow strikes again. Korean-born Sonya Thomas wolfed down 17 ground lotus seed buns in exactly twelve minutes to win the Bun Eating Contest in Hong Kong.
