2. North Charleston officials announced that the officer who fatally shot a black man over the weekend has been fired. The mayor also said he's ordering body cameras be worn by every officer on the force. 

3. An Afghan soldier opened fire at a group of US troops in the city of Jalalabad on Wednesday, killing an American soldier and wounding at least two others. US officials say the Afghan soldier was shot dead immediately afterward. 

4. And London police say heavy cutting equipment was used to break into a vault, containing safety deposit boxes in the Hatton Garden jewelry district over Easter holiday weekend. The burglary was reported Tuesday morning when jeweler opened for business, finding a number of boxes broken into.
