3. Notes of condolences are pouring into Steve Irwin's zoo in Australia. Known as the "Crocodile Hunter", Irwin was killed by a stingray's barb while swimming in the Great Barrier Reef. He was shooting a television show and video cameras caught the attack. State police are holding the tape for evidence.

4. Ernesto is gone but Florence is on the way. A new tropical storm has formed over the Atlantic Ocean. It is the sixth named storm of the season. It is a weak storm right now but is expected to gain strength.
