1. Families are settling back in their homes after a fire at a North Carolina chemical plant forced them to evacuate. Authorities had asked more than 17,000 people to leave their homes. Investigators are still looking into what caused the fire at the Apex industrial plant.
2. There is another E. coli concern, but this time, with ground beef. The government says an Iowa company is recalling 5,200 pounds of ground beef products distributed in 7 different states.
3. Farrah Fawcett says she has cancer. Her publicist says the actress has a fast-growing tumor, but Fawcett is maintaining a positive attitude and expects to recover completely.
4. The 2 President Bushes were on hand today to help christen America's newest aircraft carrier. It's the 10th and last of the Navy's Nimitz-class carriers and it's named for George. H.W. Bush, a naval pilot in World War II.
