The Iraqi Province of Anbar is now mostly controlled by Islamic State, after the militant group seized the key city of Ramadi last month. The Iraqi government has vowed to liberate the province, and according to the defense ministry, thousands of its troops have been mobilized to surround the area. 

After heavy clashes between the Iraqi forces and the extremists of IS, the Islamic state affiliates have imposed their control on the city of Ramadi the center of the province of Anbar in October, sending more enforcements and deploying more troops on the suburbs of Anbar Province as a preparation to liberate the area.
