 Feb 7th, 1964 “I wanna hold your hand, I wanna hold your hand, I wanna hold your hand.” The Beatles arrives in New York for their first tour of the US among the stops of the “Fab Four” and appears on TV’s “Ed Sullivan Show”.

1995Ramzi Yousef,mastermind of the 1993 bombing at New York’s World Trade Center is arrested in Pakistan. Yousef is later convicted and gets life in prison just a few years before the Twin Tower’s fall in the September. 11 terrorist’s attacks.
1999 “There has been enough destruction, enough death, enough waste.” Jordan’s King Hussein, seen as the voice for stability in the Middle East, dies of cancer in the capital Amman, at age 63.
1812Charles Dickens, author of A Christmas Carol and A Tale of Two Cities is born in Portsmouth, England.
And 1962Cause I’ve got friends in low places, where the whiskey drowns.
Country singer and songwriter Garth Brooks is born in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
