　　straight face

　　Straight 的意思是直的。直线是 straight line. 曲线是 curved line.人在笑得时候，脸上会有很多 curved line(曲线）；相反，人不笑得时候，脸很僵硬，所以叫 straight face。

　　We laughed, but Steve was straight-faced and seemed a little offended by the joke.

　　听完笑话，我们都笑了。只有史蒂夫板着脸，好像那个笑话还有点冒犯他似的。
