 The Australian share market was in the red all days. Investors waited for the latest US job figures out tonight. The All Ordinaries Index fell 1%. The ASX 200 was led down by health and finance stocks. And the Australian dollar is buying around 70.4 US cents.

Up market retailer David Jones says its website has been hacked and customer data stolen. David Jones says a limited amount of data was taken including names, email addresses, all the details of mailing addresses. It says no credit card details, passwords or financial information were stolen. And consumer spent more at the shops in August. The Bureau of Statistics says retail sales rose 0.4% seasonally adjusted. The boss of energy giant Shell expects a higher oil price because of the influence of non-OPEC producers. Ben van Beurden thinks the price of oil will rise over the next few years.
