This is AP News Minute. Officials in South Carolina are trying to find options to protect the capital city's main water source after torrential downpours caused a canal to collapse. The National Guard delivered sandbags on Wednesday to dam the breached canal in the City of Columbia.
Video obtained by the Associated Press shows an ancient arch in Syria largely destroyed. Syrian activists say the Islamic State group blew up the nearly 2,000-year-old arch of triumph.
Hillary Clinton's private Email server was the subject of attempted cyber attacks, originating in China, South Korea and Germany. Officials say the attempts were blocked by threat monitering but there was a period of time when the protection had not been installed.
Secretary of State John Kerry met with the president of Germany to celebrate the arrrival of a segment of Berlin Wall in Washington. The segment will be put on display at the US Diplomacy Center.
