The Australian teenager who was shot during the Paris terrorist attacks has spoken of the ordeal. Emma Parkinson was only meters from the stage of the Bataclan Concert Hall when gunmen opened fire. The 19-year-old told 60 Minutes last night "she was shot after becoming stuck in a barrier". "So it came through my head 'OK, I've been shot. Did he hit anything important? Probably not. Got kept going'."The brother of the Paris terrorist suspect Salah Abdeslam has urged himself as heard to hand himself in to police, as the Belgium capital Brussels remains in lockdown. The alleged gunman has reportedly told friends over Skype that he felt cornered by authorities and members of IS are unhappy that he didn’t detonate his suicide belt in Paris. Brussels’ metro system along with shops and restaurants are closed as the hunt for the suspected terrorist continues. The condition of a 5-year-old girl who was stabbed multiple times at Ballarat in Western Victoria has improved to stable. A 23-year-old man is still being questioned over the incident. Police say it appears the only relationship between the two is that they are neighbors. And a 10-month-old baby is in an induced coma this morning following an alleged assault of parameter in Sydney’s west. Paramedics found the baby boy was seriously burnt to his upper body and significant heat and facial injuries. A 23-year-old man is expected to appear in court, charged with grievous (of something bad very severe or serious) bodily harm.
