59 Swimming
When I was a boy, I liked swimming very much. Once my two brothers and I spentthe summer holidays with my uncle and aunt in their house by the sea. It wasonly twenty meters from the water. Every day we put on our swimming shortsbefore breakfast, ran down to the sea across the sand and jumped in. From thenuntil late at night, we were in the sea or on the beach most of the time. Whenour aunt rang a bell, we went back to the house for food, but we ate it in ourswimming shorts and were soon back in the sea again.
The water was warm, the sun shone everyday, and on most days there were nowaves. In the middle of the day a wind always began to blow but it was notstrong and did not make the sea rough.

当我还是个小男孩时，我非常喜欢游泳。有一次，我和两个兄弟到我叔叔和婶婶海边的家里过暑假。从家里到海边只有二十米远。每天早饭前，我们穿上游泳裤，穿过沙滩，跑到海边跳进水里。从那时一直到晚上的大部分时间，我们都是在海里或沙滩上度过的。当婶婶摇铃时，我们跑回屋里吃东西，但是我们穿着游泳裤吃，吃完很快又回到海里。
海水很暖和，阳光每天都很灿烂，多数日子里，海上很平静。每到中午时，风就开始刮起来，但是不很大，不会使大海变得波涛汹涌。
