CCTV9英语新闻：MOFA on Chinese boat sunk in Argentina（在线收听）

A Chinese fishing vessel sank after being fired on by Argentina's coast guards while operating in an Argentine fishing ground. The boat had more than 30 crew members on board. There are no reports of death or injury. 

Chinese Foreign Ministry and the Chinese Embassy in Argentina have lodged urgent representations with the Argentine side, expressing serious concerns. They demanded that Argentina conduct a thorough investigation and inform the Chinese side of the details. 

China also requested Buenos Aires ensure the safety and legitimate rights and interests of the Chinese crew, and take effective measures to avoid any repetition of such an incident.
