Donald Trump says he raised 5.6 million dollars for veterans during a January fundraiser in protest of a Fox News debate. He also named the charities that received the money. The presumptive Republican nominee had been under pressure to account for the money he raised. Previously, he claimed the fundraiser had collected 6 million dollars.

President Obama is urging Americans to be prepared this hurricane season. Obama was briefed by officials at FEMA Tuesday, a day before the start of hurricane season. He encouraged people to develop their own evacuation plans. This year's Atlantic hurricane season is projected to be near normal after 3 relatively slow years.

In northeast Colorado, video shows a tornado ripping apart a barn. The National Weather Service says the tornado was on the ground for about 30 miles near the town of Peetz. No injuries were reported.

And in Texas, a hacker with a political motive. Morning commuters in the Dallas Areas drove by electronic construction signs displaying "Bernie for president" and "Donald Trump is a shape shifting lizard." It appears the signs were hacked to display the message.
