This is AP news minute. 1. Russia's president and the Syria army say a nationwide ceasefire agreement with the opposition rebel is set to begin. The deal was confirmed by the Turkish foreign ministry. Vladimir Putin says the ceasefire will be guaranteed by his country and by Turkey. 2. Authorities investigating the death of an Arkansas man whose body was found on a hot tub want to expand the probe, including any comments overheard by the suspect's Amazon Echo smart speaker. Amazon says it objects to "Overboard" requests as a matter of practice. Victor Collin was found last year on a hot tub at Andrew Bates home. 3. Fans are leaving Flowers and tributes for film legend Debbie Reynolds at her star on Hollywood walk of fame. Reynolds died Wednesday at the age of 84, one day after her daughter Carrie Fisher died. 4. Zoo keepers at a Chester zoo in England are celebrating the birth of one of the rarest giraffes in the world. The calf stands over 6-feet tall and is doing well.
