中俄签订17项协议合作再次加强(在线收听) |
Russian and Chinese representatives signed 17 agreements covering energy, scientific cooperation, mining, car assembly, and more. Russia will build two natural gas pipelines to China and, to bring oil to northeast China, they will add a new branch to a Siberian oil pipeline that currently goes to the Sea of Japan. The two countries will also build new power plants along their common border. In another set of international trade negotiations, Chinese companies signed 16 agreements with Nigeria, Angola, Sudan, and other African countries. The agreements mostly concern oil, iron ore, copper, and other natural resources. While Chinese president Hu Jintao has pledged forgiveness of debts and $5 billion worth of new loans to African countries, human rights activists accuse China of supporting repressive African governments and having a colonial attitude toward the poorer countries. |
