This is AP news minute.

1. President Donald Trump signed multiple executive orders in the Oval office, on what's built as a busy work day Monday, including the signing with an order withdraw the U.S from the Trans Pacific trade agreement, as well as a hiring fee for the federal government.

2. Meanwhile, White House press secretary Sean Spicer held his first official daily press briefing. Spicer acknowledged his weekend statements, including the demonstrably false assertions about the crowd size at Trump's inauguration. He didn't insist that when TV and onsite viewership combined. It was most watched inauguration in history.

3. Workers in Albany, Georgia say almost all 200 mobile homes at the Big Pine Estates were damaged or destroyed following weekend's deadly storms. A total of 19 people have died in 2 days as the storm system tore through the southeast, hit at that mobile home park alone.

4. And the emergency crews digging into an avalanche slam hotel were cheered by the discovery of three puppies who have survived for days under tons of snow. The puppies have been trapped since Wednesday night.
