This is AP news minute. 

1.  Officials say 15 people have been killed in a landslide at a massive garbage dump on the outskirts of Ethiopia's capital. They say several dozens people are also missing. 

2. The former Obama administration White House spokesman says government needs to make sure citizens are able to gauge the effectiveness of their policies if they want to build confidence. Josh Earnest was in Dubai, attending the government sponsored public diplomacy and government communication forum. 

3. Pope Francis on Sunday prayed for the 39 girls killed and others injured in the blaze in Guatemala. The fire began in a youth shelter when mattresses were set in blaze in protest by those living there. 

4. Israelis across the country took to the street on Sunday, dressed up in costume to celebrate Purim, a holiday that commemorates the Jews' salvation from genocide in Persia, as recounted in the book of Esther. A giant float featuring U.S president Donald Trump was the centerpiece of the annual parade.
