Both Choi and Appleby had three-under-par 67s in their second rounds and both are seven-under-par 133. Choi, speaking through a translator said that he is not even thinking about winning at this point. "It's too early to say whether I am going to win or not. I just think it's very important for me to stay focused, try my best, hole-by-hole, day-by-day, an not to get too ahead of myself. I think I don't want to deviate from anything. I just want to keep my mind-set where I am right now," he said.
World No. 1 Tiger Woods of the United States fired a four-under-par 66 in his second round. He is part of a group of players at one-under-par 139. Tiger says that he is still confident that he can win. "Yeah, I feel like I at least gave myself a chance where if I play two good rounds, I have a chance of winning the tournament instead of having to play a great round or even two great rounds to get myself into that same position," he said. Tiger put on quite a show for the more than 28,000 fans watching play Friday. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice also attended the tournament. The invitational event is being played on the Congressional Country Club course in Bethesda, Maryland. | ||||
