我国大型水陆两栖飞机AG600于上周六在广东省珠海市成功进行了首次地面滑行试验，为首飞奠定了基础。

　　Designed to be the world's largest amphibious aircraft, the 37-m AG600, with a wingspan of 38.8 m, can collect 12 tons of water in 20 seconds, and transport up to 370 tons of water on a single tank of fuel.

　　AG600是世界最大水陆两栖飞机。其机身长37米，翼展38.8米。20秒内可汲水12吨，一次加油可投放的最大水量为370吨。

　　With excellent maneuverability and a relatively wide search scope range, the AG600 will be mainly used for maritime rescue, forest fire fighting, marine environment monitoring and protection.

　　因其优异的可操作性和相对宽阔的搜寻范围，AG600将主要应用于海上搜救、森林灭火，以及海洋环境监测与保护。

　　CAIGA said in March that AG600 would embark on its maiden flight over land in late May and on water in the second half of 2017.

　　中航通用飞机有限责任公司曾于3月表示，AG600将于5月底进行陆地首飞，今年下半年测试水上起飞。
