This is AP News Minute. Attorney General Jeff Sessions says the suggestion that he colluded with Russians in the 2016 presidential election is an “Appaling and detestable lie”. During testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee Tuesday, Sessions said he recused himself from the Russian probe because he was involved in the campaign and not because he did something wrong. An American College student is being medically evacuated back to his Ohio home after being released from serving a 15-year prison sentence in North Korea. The family of Otto Warmbier says they were only told last week the 22-year-old had been in a coma since March 2016 where he was last seen in public at his trial. Police officers across Georgia are searching for 2 inmates who escaped a prison bus after killing 2 guards. The men then carjacked a driver, who pulled up behind the bus as it stopped on a rural highway. And new reports suggest drones carrying heart defibrillators could save lives. The Swedish study found that drones arrived at the scenes of cardiac arrest almost 17 minutes faster than ambulances. Doctors say the concept is worth exploring.
