| Inside this courtroom today, Jason McLean appeared in front of a judge for the first time in his life. He has never been in trouble until this point, but now he faces first-degree murder. Jason's family says Erin Mclean, an Intern-Teacher at West High, was having an affair, an affair with senior Sean Powell, a student at West High. Police said McLean shot Powell in the head as he sat inside a vehicle outside the McLean's home. "And I much prefer to be defending a case where the victim's shot over the defendant's house." The victim's family was inside the courtroom today, but didn't want to appear on camera. Erin McLean was in no show. At this time, McLean is being held without bond, but his lawyer says that might change in the future. As if right now the hearing is set for March 27.
