Coming up：As China has embarked on a decisive stage of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects, a safe and stable social environment is needed to ensure the goal is completed on schedule.However, this is not an easy path as the country's reform has entered a phase that touches on difficult issues and results in more complex conflicts and looming risks.The situation requires greater efforts in public security, as well as better social governance.In his report at the key 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China last month, General Secretary Xi Jinping says the party should ensure and improve people's wellbeing and strengthen and develop new approaches to social governance.Xi also says the country will establish a social governance model based on collaboration, participation, and common interests.
