The alder by the river 河岸边的桤木 Shakes out her powdery curls; 抖出粉状的卷；
The willow buds in silver 柳树萌发银芽
For little boys and girls. 为了那些孩儿。
The little birds fly over, 小鸟飞过来，
And oh, how sweet they sing! 噢，歌声多美妙！
To tell the happy children 它们告诉快乐的小孩，
That once again't is Spring. 春天回来了。
The gay green grass comes creeping 青翠的小草慢慢隆起
So soft beneath their feet; 在他们脚下如此柔软，
The frogs begin to ripple 青蛙在水里此起彼落，
A music clear and sweet. 如乐音清脆而婉转。
And buttercups are coming, 毛茛也蓄势待发
