　　正确姿势：

　　He is very fashionable!

　　解析：

　　Fashion是名词，Fashionable才是形容词

　　但这个词有点过时，也不常用，形容时髦最好用这些词：

　　Trendy: Shanghai is Trendy. 上海很时尚。

　　Stylish: She is stylish. 她很时髦。

　　Chic: The dress is so chic. 这条裙子很时髦别致。

　　#2. I very like...

　　错误示范：

　　I very like her.

　　正确姿势：

　　I like her very much.

　　解析：

　　Very只能修饰形容词，不能修饰动词。

　　除了吧very much放在句末，这些用法也可以表达“很喜欢”：

　　I really like...

　　I love...

　　I'm into... 这个一般用在恋爱关系中，不要用错哦。

　　错误示范：

　　Hi Spencer, how to say "榴莲" in English?

　　正确姿势：

　　Hi Spencer, how do you say "榴莲" in English?

　　解析：

　　How to say...不是一个语法正确的完整句子，所以不能直接用来提问。

　　需要问“怎么说”，还可以用这些表达：

　　How do you say...

　　What do you call...in English?

　　注意：虽然问完整的问题不可以，但how to...还是可以用来做标题，只要记住这不是个完整的句子。

　　#4. Stay vs. live

　　错误示范：

　　Hi Spencer, how long have you stayed in China?

　　正确姿势：

　　Hi Spencer, how long have you been living in China?

　　解析：

　　Stay一般指短期呆在某处，live则是指长期生活居住。

　　如果不知道对方是长期住还是短期呆，可以用这个句子：

　　How long have you been in China? 你在中国多久了？

　　错误示范：

　　This is my wife. He is very smart.

　　正确姿势：

　　This is my wife. She is very smart.

　　解析：

　　这是人人都知道的问题，却又是时时在犯的问题。

　　强化训练。脑海中想象一个你需要经常提到的人，比如伴侣、老板、朋友……连说个十遍、一百遍。听起来有点傻，但真的有效。

　　#6. Foreign & foreigner

　　错误示范：

　　This is my friend Spencer. He is a foreigner.

　　正确姿势：

　　This is my friend Spencer. He is an American.

　　解析：

　　虽然没有语法错误，可是直指对方是个foreigner在英语中有点不礼貌，有点怪。

　　最好的说法是直接说对方是哪里人：

　　Spencer is an American.

　　Adam is a Canadian.

　　有时候International这个词也可以用来介绍外国友人：

　　He is an international student.

　　Expat可以吗？

　　Expat也可以表示外国的，但因为是比较老旧的词，有些人会觉得用起来带有感情色彩，不是最安全。
