一说到“旁边”很多同学可能首先想到的是 near 或者 by，其实在生活中“在…的旁边”经常用到的是“Next to”

Sit next to… 坐在…旁边

Sit next to me 坐在我旁边

Do you want to sit next to me? 你想坐我旁边吗？

这个表达是不是既简单又地道呢~有时候我们还可以这样用：

Be next to… 坐在…旁边

Be next to me 坐在我旁边

He's right next to me. Do you wanna talk to him? 他就在我旁边你要不要跟他说话？

还有一个非常常用的表达：

Live next to… 住在…旁边

I live right next to my work. It's very convenient. 我就住在公司旁边，特别方便。

I live right next to a supermarket. 我就住在一个大超市旁边。
