Hey, guys! So, it's Father's week, and I'm gonna be completely honest: 嘿大家!这礼拜是父亲节，不过我要坦白一下：

I actually wasn't gonna make a Father's Day video, because I just did a Mother's Day video, and I didn't want it to be too similar. 我其实本来没有要做一部父亲节影片，因为我刚做过母亲节的，我不想要内容太像。

But then all the comments on that Mother's Day video was kinda like, "Well, now you gotta make a Father's Day video. 但后来那部母亲节影片下面的留言都像这样，「嗯，现在你得做一部父亲节的啦。

Because if you don't, that's sexist." "I don't have a mom, so if you don't make a Father's Day video, that's not fair to me." 因为如果你没有的话，那就是性别歧视。」「我没有妈妈，所以如果你不做一个父亲节影片的话，那对我不公平。」

"Wow, Ryan, you actually cried in this video? What a little b****!" 「哇赛，Ryan，你还真的在影片里哭了啊？真是个小孬孬!」

Yes, I got a little emotional talking about my mom on Mother's Day. I'm sorry. I just have so many feelings. 对，我在母亲节聊妈妈的时候有点情绪化。很抱歉吼。人家就是很百感交集啊。

But basically, for this video, I wanted to do something a little different. 但基本上，这部影片我想来点不一样的。

When you tell your mom "I love you" for no reason at all, it's a completely normal thing. And in fact, it's a very nice moment. 当你没来由地跟妈妈说「我爱妳」的时候，那是件再正常不过的事。

Most time she'll just say "I love you, too." But for dads, on the other hand, 事实上，那是很温馨的一刻。大多时候妈妈会说「我也爱你」。但换成是爸爸的话，

and I don't know if this is just a guy thing, but it's not something you'd say to your dad randomly. 我不知道这是不是什么男人专属的问题，不过这不是你会突然对爸爸说的话。

At least not for me. And honestly, I know this sounds absolutely terrible, but I don't even remember the last time I told my dad I loved him. 至少我不会那样。而且说实话，我知道这听起来超级糟糕，不过我甚至不记得自己上次什么时候对我爸说我爱他。

And don't get me wrong. I love my dad, and I know he loves me. 别误会。我爱我爸，我知道他也爱我。

It's just not something that we say to each other. It's just a known fact. 只是这不是我们会对彼此说的话。这就是个你知我知的事实。

But then I wondered, What if I told my dad "I love you" randomly out of nowhere? What would he say? 但后来我心想，要是我没来由地突然对我爸说「我爱你」会怎样？他会说什么？

Would he say it back to me? Would it be awkward? Would it be funny? I don't know. Ergo...the "I Love You Dad" experiment was born. 他会回他也爱我吗？会很尴尬吗？会很好玩吗？我不知道。因此...「老爸我爱你」实验诞生啦。

I told everybody on the TeeHee app to film their dad, tell them "I love you," and to record their reactions. 我叫 TeeHee 应用程序上的大家录下自己的爸爸，对他们说「我爱你」然后录下他们的反应。

I gotta say, I had no idea what to expect, but I was not let down at all. 我得说，我不知道该期待什么成果，但我完全没失望。
