President Trump and Congress are in a dispute over access to a whistle-blower's complaint about the President. It involves a private conversation between Trump and a foreign leader. The government intelligence watchdog calls it serious and urgent. But the administration has blocked lawmakers from finding out what the exact allegation is.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says there may be times that he wore brown or blackface years ago that he doesn't remember. Pictures have surfaced of him painted with black or brown makeup several times years ago. Trudeau has apologized.

At least 2 people are dead as the remnants of tropical storm Imelda send massive floods through areas of east Texas. Rescue crews with boats are scrambling to reach stranded drivers, and people caught in their homes.

And demonstrations are being held worldwide Friday, calling for action on climate change. Organizers estimate that more than 300,000 people demonstrated across several cities in Australia.
